Mariann Naoom

About Me:

Hello, my name is Mariann Naoom. I have been blessed to be the head Athletic Trainer at Berean Christian High School since 2011. Ever since being introduced to Sports Medicine at Ygnacio Valley High School, I have had the desire to return and teach in addition to being an Athletic Trainer. The Lord blessed me with the opportunity to work at Berean and to start an Athletic Training program. The students and athletes at this school are amazing and it is such a pleasure to work with them!

Education:

I have been involved with Athletic Training since 2003. I started in an ROP Sports Medicine Class, then received my A.S. degree in Kinesiology: Athletic Training from Diablo Valley College, and continued on to complete my Bachelor's in Kinesiology: Athletic Training from Fresno State. Go Dogs!

ACSI Liberal Arts Credential

I have been a Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer since 2010. I have worked with many levels of athletics over the years. Some of my experiences include working with Ygnacio Valley High School, Los Medanos College, the San Francisco Dragons Major League Lacrosse team, Fresno State Athletics, Fresno State Rugby Club, Football University, Cal Ice Hockey, the Bay Area Matrix ABA basketball team, and the Pittsburg Diamonds professional baseball team. Additionally, I am currently working as the Head Athletic Trainer for Diablo Valley College Men's Lacrosse and have been there since 2011.
