College Applications

College applications are done both through shared application platforms and through college websites.

 

ApplicationU

ApplicationU is an app platform specifically for Christian colleges.  The cost to apply through ApplicationU is minimal.

California State University

The CSU application is one application through which students can apply to all of the CSUs- Bakersfield, Cal Maritime, Channel Islands, Chico, Dominguez Hills, East Bay, Fresno, Fullerton, Humboldt, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Monterey Bay, Northridge, Pomona, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, San Luis Obispo, San Marcos, Sonoma, and Stanislaus.  The cost is $70 per campus.

Common App

The Common App includes more than 1,000 colleges and is used most often.  Application fees vary.

Common Black College App

The Common Black College App is an application platform for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.  The cost to apply through the Common Black College App is minimal.

University of California

The UC application is one application through which students can apply to all of the UCs- Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz.  The cost is $80 per campus.

Most of our students who choose community college either go to Diablo Valley College or Los Medanos College.

Diablo Valley College

Students who plan to attend DVC complete their applications during third quarter.  They then take Counseling-095 during March or April in order to qualify for priority registration in May.

Los Medanos College

Students who plan to attend LMC complete their applications in the spring semester of senior year.
